In Onslaught whoever is at the highest floor will have to go back down to whoever is at the lowest floor to play together because the other way around means someone would be skipping content. In each of these game modes there are certain requirements to play as a team. Once you finish Campaign, you will move onto either Onslaught or Chaos Expeditions.
Sounds like the best description for this after campaign is "The chain is only as strong as its weakest link" However it could have been a network connection or any other type of issue. It is not a bad game, but although it offers co-op it doesn’t seem to be too co-op friendly at the earlier stages of the game.
When you start, you have to be on the same progression, but that is for the first few maps, after that you can join and progress with your friends whenever you have time.įor your first question yes Trendy might have screwed up badly on the initial stages of the game, but the first levels which work as an tutorial have to be completed on the same level of progression otherwise you will be unable to join your friends and them you. If it is like I described above, so everyone needs the same progress to be able to play together, then I fear this game is nothing for us =( The major question for now would be, if this is a game we have to play ALWAYS together, or if this is a game we could play solo, 2 player or 3 player or 4 player, depending of who has time to play. And if we complete map 10 with all 3 players and a fourth player wants to join but did not finish any map, he has to solo every of those maps to be able to play with us? No way to join friends within the game?!Īfter we found out it MAY work to join a friend via steam (hundred times error "not found or full" in game), it seems only 2 player can play the first 3 tutorial levels together?! At least the third player always got the "not found or full" error and was never able to join. So we looked for a twoerdefense like game we could play with 3 or 4 players in COOP and found dungeon defenders 2.
